    Key Definitions

    • Agreement – The written contract, proposal, or scope document governing the engagement.
    • Client Materials – Information, resumes, job descriptions, and other content supplied by the client.
    • Work Product – The agreed outputs created as part of the services.
    • Internal Resources – Templates, frameworks, writing methodologies, and proprietary tools used in delivering services.
    • Completed Deliverables – Final documents provided to the client under the Agreement.
    • Engagement – The specific service arrangement described in the Agreement.
    • Services – Resume writing, editing, formatting, and related documentation services.
    • External Components – Any third-party tools or services used where applicable.

    Delivery of Services

    Services are performed according to the milestones and scope outlined in the Agreement. We apply professional discretion and commercially reasonable efforts when completing assignments.

    Delivery timelines depend on the completeness of information provided and timely communication.

    Proposals and Acceptance

    Quotes and proposals remain valid for 30 days from issuance unless otherwise specified. If not accepted within that timeframe, revised terms may be issued.

    Fees and Related Charges

    Unless explicitly stated otherwise:

    • Third-party expenses are invoiced separately.
    • Approved project-related expenses may be billed at cost.
    • Clients are responsible for any applicable taxes connected to the services.

    Payment Conditions

    Invoices are payable within five (5) days unless alternative terms are agreed in writing. Payments may follow a milestone schedule described in the Agreement.

    Failure to make timely payment may delay delivery.

    Adjustments to Scope

    All requests for changes must be submitted in writing.

    Minor revisions that do not materially alter timelines or fees may be accommodated within the existing scope. Substantial changes that significantly affect deliverables or workload may require a revised or supplemental agreement.

    Revised proposals remain open for acceptance for fourteen (14) working days unless stated otherwise.

    Project Delays

    If delays arise due to incomplete materials, late approvals, or other client-related factors, deadlines may be extended accordingly.

    If delays occur on our side, we will communicate promptly and work toward a reasonable solution.

    Events beyond either party’s reasonable control may extend timelines without constituting a breach.

    Review and Approval Process

    All work undergoes internal review before submission.

    Clients have seven (7) working days to review completed deliverables and request revisions within the agreed scope. Adjustments will be addressed within a reasonable timeframe.

    Client Duties

    Clients agree to provide accurate, lawful, and complete materials. Proofreading responsibility remains with the client unless otherwise agreed.

    Timely feedback and decisions are required to maintain agreed timelines.

    Attribution and Portfolio Rights

    Unless otherwise agreed, we may include completed non-confidential work in our portfolio. Either party may reference the engagement factually, provided no confidential information is disclosed.

    Confidentiality Obligations

    Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality regarding non-public information exchanged during the engagement. This obligation does not apply to information already publicly available or lawfully obtained from other sources.

    Independent Relationship

    We act as an independent contractor. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment relationship, or exclusivity arrangement unless explicitly agreed in writing.

    We may engage subcontractors when appropriate while remaining responsible for service delivery.

    Limitation of Liability

    Services are provided on an “as is” basis to the extent permitted. Our total liability for any claim related to the services is limited to the amount paid for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim.

    Ownership and Usage Rights

    Upon full payment, clients receive a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide licence to use the Completed Deliverables as agreed.

    Our internal resources, writing frameworks, and proprietary methods remain our property unless expressly transferred in writing. Any restrictions on modification or derivative use are governed by the Agreement.

    Support and After-Service

    Ongoing support is provided only if agreed separately and may incur additional fees.

    If deliverables are modified by third parties without our involvement, any related support obligations may not apply.

    Amendments to These Terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version published on reactresumes.com governs use. Continued use of the website or services constitutes acceptance of any revisions.
